ITIL Practitioner Service Management

The ITIL Practitioner Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL Practitioner) is proof that the certified person has deep knowledge in one of the ITIL processes. As per the certificate name, practitioner certification is not only about understanding but also about specific practices and expertise.

There are currently 3 different areas covered by the practitioner certification. This is:
- Release and Control (Certification Release Practitioners and Practitioners ITIL)
- Support and Restore (ITIL Practitioner Support and Restore Certification)
- Agree and Decide (ITIL Practitioner Support and Restore Certification)

Each certification practitioner is licensed to obtain a manager's certificate. It is good to know that ITIL managers get certified in all the areas mentioned above - this is because the manager's certificate is not just about one area but also all. That is why it is necessary to understand in depth all aspects of the ITIL process before attending the manager's certificate.

The level of practitioners is usually presented to team leaders and specialists who want to spread their knowledge to new subjects. Courses are highly recommended to take the exam. The average training for one set of processes mentioned above takes 5 days and is followed by the exam.

The practitioners exam is very similar to the basic exam and consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. 26 points are required to pass the exam. Please note that before taking practitioners, you must have an ITIL Foundation Certification.
